For lots with a current Italian libretto, please be aware that the PRA must remove the seizure order from its records before re-registration can take place in any country. This process is expected to take 6-8 weeks, during which lots may be transported to an EU destination but may not be exported.

Originally conceived as a Le Mans prototype to replace Porsche’s venerable GT1, the Carrera GT was a stillborn project that never got its chance to compete due to changes in FIA regulations. Porsche, however, believed that it had something special on its hands and decided to press onwards and develop the platform for road use. First seen in concept form at the Paris Motor Show in 2000, the Carrera GT received an incredible amount of attention. Due in part to added revenue from the Cayenne, Porsche green-lighted the Carrera GT for production. With a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis and a race-derived 5.7-liter V-10 at its heart, its competition genes were quite evident. Ultimately, only 1,270 examples were built.
Delivered on 27 July 2005 through Porsche in Leipzig, Germany, this Carrera GT wears serial number 0777 and was originally finished in a very desirable colour combination of Basalt Black Metallic over a Terracotta leather interior and outfitted with air conditioning and a Becker radio and CD player. Following delivery, the car allegedly moved to Finland prior to being registered in Italy with its previous custodian by at least 2007. Today, the car has travelled just 7,500 kilometers from new and remains in excellent condition throughout.
The Carrera GT is still considered by many to be one of the greatest cars to ever wear Porsche’s crest. It demands 100 percent of the driver’s attention and can provide an almost unrivalled level of performance for a relatively “analog” supercar. Standing out from the rest thanks to its gorgeous colour combination, pristine condition, and low mileage, this Porsche would make an exciting addition to any collection of modern supercars.
