  • One of only one hundred twenty-three 1962 300H Convertibles; Recently refinished in Festival Red

380 bhp 413 cu. in. Wedge eight-cylinder engine, three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission, independent front suspension with torsion bars, a live rear axle with leaf springs, and four-wheel power drum brakes. Wheelbase: 122 in.

When this outstanding Chrysler was added to Mr. Pack’s collection more than a decade ago, it was then described as being fully restored. As one can imagine, it had to look the part to be considered for his collection.

In an effort to ensure that this Convertible has been maintained to the highest quality at all times, it was stripped of all trim and chrome earlier this year and treated to a full re-spray in blazing Festival Red. It is one of only one hundred twenty-three 300H Convertibles produced for 1962, and as with each of these illusive Chryslers, this example is outfitted with the powerful 413 dual-quad powerhouse, which is rated at 380 horsepower and mated to a Torqueflite automatic transmission. Other features on the car include power steering and brakes, power windows, a power top, and a power antenna. The trademark full-length console is flanked by four bucket seats that are covered in the same quality tan materials found throughout the interior. Also, the unique, glowing high-voltage instrument panel remains one of the most lavish in the automobile industry.

This rare Chrysler 300H would be a very important piece in any collection, and it could be confidently exhibited without reservation.
