Midwest Industries produced its first pressed-steel pedal car in 1956, modeling the basic body after the Studebaker Hawk series. From that framework, the company produced three pedal car styles: the Strato Jet, Sportster, and Jet Hawk. Although the pedal car offered is labeled "Strato Jet," it is actually a Jet Hawk. Midwest Industries produced these pedal cars from 1956-1962.
