47 hp, 492 cc two-stroke parallel twin-cylinder engine, five-speed manual transmission with foot shift, swinging-arm front fork suspension, rear shock absorbers, and front and rear drum brakes. Length: 2,195 mm

The Suzuki T500 boasts the largest twin-cylinder two-stroke engine used in any motorcycle. Introduced in 1967, it evolved by 1969 into the Titan II, with more classic styling and a slight increase in power.

The model offered here is the T500 Titan III of 1970, one of the first of the model to be imported to Italy by Monzeglio of Torino, at a cost when new of 830,000 lire. With 47 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, it could achieve a maximum speed of 176 km/h. This example is in very well preserved original condition and would no doubt still be a thrill to ride.
