The similarity of the 1936 Packard One Twenty to the larger, more expensive Packards of the era didn’t end with the famous name – one of the longest-lived brands in motoring at that time. This Packard One Twenty Convertible Sedan, according to the cowl tag, was delivered to The Cleveland Packard Co. on August 21, 1936. The dealership was located at the corner of Carnegie Avenue and East 93rd Street in Cleveland, Ohio, and the structure still exists as part of the famed Cleveland Clinic.

Not long-removed from a 30-year ownership history; this Packard is reported to have been cosmetically restored in a shade of dark silver (reminisce of Packard’s 1936 Arlington Gray) with dark red interior, black soft-top (with dark red piping) and a black top boot. Packard was renowned for their smooth-as-silk powerplants; this is a 282-cid, 120-hp straight eight-cylinder engine matched to a three-speed manual transmission.
