- Built in Flint, Michigan, then bought new from Lamar Ferrell Chevrolet Inc. in Decatur, Georgia on 27 June 1972
- Top-of-the-range 5.7-liter V-8 engine, four-wheel-drive specification with three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and Positraction axle
- Delivered from the factory with air-conditioning, Cheyenne equipment package, locking front wheel-hubs, power steering, removable hardtop, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, chromed hubcaps, gauge cluster, heavy-duty battery and shock absorbers, rear passenger seat, skid plate, tinted glass, and tilt steering column
