This rare 1948 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet has been meticulously maintained with a frame-off restoration. The powerful 305-cid, 130-hp V-12 engine runs flawlessly with very few miles since the full rebuild of the unit. This Lincoln has a three-speed transmission with overdrive, power windows, heater, clock and factory wheel covers. The Lincoln is presented in rich original Grotto Blue exterior color with a tan power top and matching blue interior. This particular 1948 Lincoln has won numerous Lincoln club awards along with AACA Junior, Senior and preservation awards.
In 1948 Lincoln built a total of 1,299 Continentals in two body types; 847 were the coupe edition and only 452 convertibles, such as this lovely and well-respected car. The Lincoln Continental is also recognized as a Full Classic by the Classic Car Club of America.
