Keeping with a two-year design cycle, the big Chevys got brand-new body shells with flowing lines that made them appear longer even though overall length and wheelbase remained unchanged. Chevy continued to offer a Super Sport model in the full-size Impala series, though it would disappear after the 1969 model year as the emphasis on performance cars transferred to mid-size models.

The Chevrolet Impala offered here is the recipient of an older restoration and is finished nicely in blue and features matching blue steel wheels wrapped in whitewall tires. The interior is finished in blue with front bucket seats, center console, a radio and three-spoke steering wheel. Lurking under the hood is a Turbo Jet 396-cid, 425-hp V-8 engine paired with a console-shifted automatic transmission. This Impala also features air conditioning and power brakes.
