The Corvette Z06 has a 7.0-liter small-block, high torque V-8 engine codenamed LS7, which produces 505 horsepower with the aid of a dry-sump oil system and connecting rods made out of titanium alloy. The frame of the Z06 is fabricated from aluminum, saving 136 pounds over the standard steel frame. Other weight saving measures such as balsa wood/carbon fiber composite floors and a magnesium alloy engine cradle kept the cars weight to just over 3,000 pounds and maximized the impressive power. The engine is strictly mated to a six-speed manual gearbox in conjunction with a limited-slip differential.

The exterior of the Z06 also has unique design elements that set it apart, such as the broad front fascia with wheel opening extensions along the flanks, high-intensity discharge headlamps and foglamps, a cold-air ram housed in the front of the hood, extra width in the rear fenders to contain the massive rear tire width and a slight spoiler on the rear deck that contains LED lighting. The interior appointments are numerous, functional and luxurious; fine leather hides for heated bucket seating, dual-zone air conditioning, cockpit air filtration, proper gauges including heads-up display, a Bose audio system with six-disc CD changer in the dash, a telescopic steering wheel, a pair of side-impact air bags, a built-in navigation system with GPS, OnStar telecommunications and XM satellite radio service. The Corvette Z06 is one of few production automobiles in the world to turn a sub-eight minute lap of the famed Nurburgring in Germany.

This Z06 is reported as "rarely optioned" and finished in Atomic Orange with black leather. It has a six-speed manual transmission and is showroom new with approximately 800 original miles displayed on the odometer. The interior features are numerous, functional and luxurious. These include heated seats, in-dash CD, DVD navigation, Bose stereo, memory package, universal home remote, luggage shade, steering wheel-mounted radio controls, leather-wrapped steering wheel and heads-up display. Four-wheel disc brakes with red calipers are just as important as an exceptional method of slowing the car from its impressive boundaries. Distinctive factory alloy wheels with low profile tires add functionality and style. This machine is immaculate inside and out.
