The Packard Fifteenth Series of 1937 represented the best of both worlds. Appearances kept the Packard as an elegant automobile with finely tailored lines and elegant appointments, with the body, hood, fenders and running boards merged into a smooth and slightly modern design that also featured skirted fenders plus bullet-shaped headlights and taillights. The hood sides also carry well-detailed vents that offer functionality with form. The Packard automobile was welcome in all social environments; America’s leading families owned and drove the large Packards more than any other fine car of the period, a vivid illustration of Packard’s dominance of the fine car field of this era.

Presented with lovely paint work in light brown, this Packard has been fitted with dual side-mounted spares with matching hard covers, golf club stowage compartment, luggage rack, rearview mirror, color-keyed wheels with factory caps and trim rings, plus wide whitewall tires - all combining to provide a classic look. Under the hood is a resolute twelve-cylinder engine that is connected to a three-speed manual transmission. It is reported as having an engine fitted from a low-mileage 1936 Packard limousine. Inside the Packard coupe exhibits a stunning tan interior matched with a woodgrain dashboard that features cleanly designed and arranged instrumentation along with a banjo-type steering wheel.
