This one-off custom was built by Wheeler’s Speed Shop in 2008 to contend for America’s most beautiful roadster at the Grand National Show. Finished in burnt orange with brown saddle leather interior and a tan canvas top; the roadster is driven by a 392-cid Hemi V-8 engine that is matched to an automatic transmission. The powerful unit with fuel injection was built by the respected Ray Zeller.
Among the features are a Brookville roadster body, modified So Cal frame, custom wishbones, four-inch axle drop, GM Turbo-Hydramatic 350 transmission, polished stainless steel exhaust, Budnik wheels with Safety Trigo hardware, Sid Chavers “bop top,” leather interior by Westminster, Winters quick-change rear end, Wilton wool carpet, paint by Mick Jenkins and chrome by Vern’s chrome plating.
