In the MGA you get the superb, nimble handling of a British thoroughbred sports car that was as much at home in everyday traffic as it was on the racetrack. The MG had the pedigree of a champion; it was a most worthwhile successor in the line of MG heritage that included the M Type Midget, J4 Supercharged Racing Midget, Q Type Racing Midget and K3 Magnette. The MGA is well-recognized as a superior performer, and at that time it was the safest, fastest and best handling MG yet.

This particular example is presented with an older restoration that has a very nice appearance with its red finish and tan leather interior. The tan is carried onto the door panels, kick panels and center armrest. The carpet in the cockpit and trunk are black in color. The 1,489-cc inline four-cylinder engine is in a nicely presented engine bay and is connected to a manual transmission. A black vinyl soft-top, owner’s handbook, side curtains, knock-off wire wheels, windwings and dual fender-mounted mirrors are part of the package, as are aftermarket upgrades that include a cooling fan and spin-on oil filter.
