With the arrival of the MGA Roadster in 1955, several MG aficionados were taken aback by the fact that the prewar look of the company's sports cars had been tampered with. Instead, they were greeted with a streamlined, aerodynamic body that was right up-to-the-minute in terms of styling and design.

The example presented here is nicely restored and finished in the attractive color combination of red with a tan interior. The MGA features an inline four-cylinder engine with dual side-draft carburetors and a four-speed manual transmission. Additional features include an aftermarket AM/FM radio with cassette player, dual fender-mounted mirrors, grille guard, luggage rack and factory steel wheels with the proper caps. The owner’s handbook is included in the sale of this smart looking roadster.

Given its features, this is a wonderful example of an English sports car that championed racing circuits and showrooms around the world in its heyday, and it is ready to enjoy now.
