The 1975 Caprice Classic looked distinctively new from an exterior view with a more elegant and trimmer appearance. The headlights were “stepped” to add prominence to the new grille. Rear fender skirts helped accentuate the Caprice’s elegant look; the convertible was an exciting version of the respected Caprice platform. Only 8,349 similar convertibles are reported as being built in 1975.

This Caprice is possibly the lowest mileage original example in existence. This vehicle has traveled only 3,600 miles from new. It is reported that this Caprice was ordered by Mr. Malcolm Konner for his personal collection and enjoyment. Malcolm Konner Chevrolet was at one time the worlds largest Corvette dealer. Mr. Konner ordered this Caprice convertible with every available option in 1975. Mr. Konner frequently used this vehicle, not only for his personal enjoyment, but also it was used for parades and other special occasions. The vehicle is finished in it’s original black lacquer exterior and complimented with its rich white interior.

This Caprice has also recently been mechanically and cosmetically recommissioned due to an extended prolonged storage. All mechanical components are in perfect working condition.

Also included with the vehicle is the original window sticker which outlines the extensive list of factory options. The convertible is powered by a V-8 engine with automatic transmission, and it is nicely presented with optional wire wheel covers, sport mirrors with both sides remote, remote trunk release, intermittent wipers, cruise control, color-keyed side moldings, tape player with AM/FM radio, air conditioning, tinted glass, deluxe bumpers, heavy-duty radiator, whitewall tires; power top, six-way seat, door locks, windows, steering and brakes. Woodgrain trim elements in the interior are in keeping with the elegant theme of this American favorite from the mid-‘70s. It's hard to believe, but this is but a partial listing of appointments.
