The Ford Galaxie of 1962 was assessed to be the finest version yet of, what was then, America’s all-time favorite convertible. The appealing design was embraced, as was the car having thoroughbred quality throughout the entire car. And performance was also a prominent feature, the power choices moved the Galaxie with nimbleness and smoothness that they hoped would remind interested parties of the Thunderbird itself.
This example has been freshly frame off restoration and looks wonderful in a turquoise finish with a complementary tri-tone interior with a white vinyl convertible top. It is driven by a New 352-cid V-8 engine that is paired to a new automatic transmission; power steering, dual sideview mirrors, tastefully-sized whitewall tires, factory hubcaps and a new AM/FM Stereo are additional features.
