Plymouth introduced its limited-edition high-performance Fury in 1955. From the beginning, Furys, like this example, were available only in Buckskin Beige with distinctive gold anodized trim. This car includes its original brown and beige interior along with power steering and brakes, and a 150-mph speedometer. One of just 5,303 built, it is powered by a new-for-1958 350-cid, 305-hp dual quad “Golden Commando” V-8 and TorqueFlite automatic transmission with push-button controls. It features new paint along with fresh chrome and stainless. According to the consigner, “It runs and drives excellent and starts and shifts perfectly with no issues of any kind.”
