For many Porsche enthusiasts, the 911 Carrera 4S represented the sweet spot of the 993-era model range. Wearing the wider bodywork of that 911 generation’s Turbo, and with a lower stance than the standard Carrera, the 4S was easy on the eye to the point that it drew acclaim for its timeless styling. Porsche engineered the Carrera 4S with four-wheel-drive capabilities for traction on slippery surfaces and improved handling—a technologically advanced feature for its time—while the sleek coupé is one of the last to be powered by the marque’s famous air-cooled flat-six.

Completed by the factory on 14 November 1995, this 911 Carrera 4S coupé was built for the 1996 model year and finished in Grand Prix White over a Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior. Furthermore, it was equipped with an AM/FM radio with cassette player, floor mats in matching Cashmere Beige, wheel caps with the Porsche crest, and a full power driver’s seat. According to the accompanying CARFAX document, the car was delivered new to Park City, Utah, before travelling with its first owner to Florida, where in 2000 it was sold to the second owner with just over 17,000 miles on its odometer.

Remaining with its second owner for roughly 14 years and residing near Daytona Beach, the Porsche accumulated only 8,830 miles in this time. In May 2014, it was sold to its third owner, who resided in Virginia, and accumulated just over 1,000 miles during their tenure. The Porsche was sold again in 2018, when it was imported to the United Arab Emirates for the consigning owner. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer read just 27,349 miles, having moved on less than 200 miles since being acquired by the vendor almost six years ago.

Representing the end of an era for the 911, cars from the 993 era are considered to be among the most desirable variants of the model, with this attractively specified Carrera 4S proving to be no exception.
