245 hp, 283 cu. in. V-8 engine, dual four-barrel carburetors, four-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension with unequal-length upper and lower A-arms, coil springs and anti-roll bar, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and trailing radius rods, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 102 in.

While one-third of the 10,939 Corvettes produced for 1961 were finished in Ermine White, only about 10 percent received the very desirable dual-quad 245 horsepower engine with a four-speed transmission. This numbers-matching convertible also includes both the hardtop and white soft top. It appears to have been restored many years ago, and today, it remains in presentable order, showing some signs of road use. The interior has been restored nicely and remains well appointed, down to the proper carpets. Like the engine compartment, the chassis and frame areas show signs of an older restoration that has been driven and enjoyed on the road. Overall, this is a very suitable driver level example that can be enjoyed right away.
