150 hp, 235.5 cu. in. inline overhead valve six-cylinder engine, two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, coil springs, tube shocks and stabilizer front suspension, leak springs, tube shocks and solid rear axle, and four-wheel hydraulic brakes. Wheelbase: 102 in.
Of the 3,640 Corvettes produced for the 1954 model year, only 100 were delivered in Sportsman Red. This example is appropriately trimmed with a matching interior. The odometer currently shows 335 miles, which is indicative of mileage since the completion of the outstanding body off restoration. The engine bay is nicely detailed and contains the famed Blue Flame Six with triple carburetors, and each component appears to be correct and well finished. The underbody of the Corvette highlights the quality of the restoration and shows only minimal road use throughout. All upholstery shows extremely well and remains in excellent order. Equipped with a very desirable accessory hardtop, this very low production roadster is ready for its return onto the show field.
