Following the devastating flooding that hit the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy in May 2023, Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc has decided to offer for sale a pair of gloves to raise money for those affected. Landslides and flooding struck more than 40 towns and cities in the region, among them Ferrari’s hometown of Maranello. The proceeds of the sale will go towards ongoing recovery efforts in the wake of the disaster.

Offered direct from the driver, this pair of Puma gloves were worn for the duration of the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix—Charles Leclerc’s home race—in a thrilling encounter that saw the Scuderia Ferrari ace place 6th. The all-white gloves were designed especially for the Monégasque’s home race and match the striking race suit and unique helmet design that paid homage to the driver’s father, Herve Leclerc.

Signed by the driver and complete with a certificate of authenticity, this rare and special piece of memorabilia would make a fantastic addition to any Ferrari or Formula 1 collection and will be particularly poignant to those who have an affinity to Monte-Carlo—or indeed the beautiful region of Italy that the proceeds will go to help.
