When introduced, the Porsche GT3 was lauded as Porsche’s most powerful naturally aspirated 911 ever. As part of the 997 series, the 3.6-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine produces 415 horsepower; the 115.3-hp per liter was stated by Porsche to be the world’s best specific output for a non-turbo/supercharged engine. The GT3 also features an active suspension setup for the track and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The engine is a masterpiece that includes aluminum block and heads, water-cooled, dry sump, four camshafts, four valves per cylinder, variable intake valve timing and multi-point fuel injection. This impressive unit is paired to a six-speed manual transmission.

At first glimpse, the GT3 is distinguished from a standard 911 through its lower ride height, a prominent double deck rear spoiler and an air dam that closely hovers above the ground. This air dam also assists in cooling the radiator via three large intake ducts.

In the 911 model range, the abbreviation GT3 assures pure, unadulterated driving pleasure. With its uncompromising dynamics, this model impresses not only in normal day-to-day driving but also on the racetrack. The wheels are impressive in size and beneath are brake rotors over 13 inches in diameter, front and rear, with six-piston calipers in front, four-piston binders in back. Porsche’s ceramic composite brakes were available as a high-dollar option for serious weekend racers, and this example has this desirable ceramic system.

The GT3 Porsche’s are special throughout and will not disappoint in the performance department. This particular car is finished in Gray Metallic with a gray interior with the seats in suede. Among the additional highlights Xenon headlights, heated seats, rain-sensing wipers, air conditioning, radio with CD; power windows, factory alloy wheels, yellow calipers, power steering and brakes. The body structure is a monocoque from steel with the doors and front decklid aluminum. Set up for the road or track; with a 193-mph advertised top speed, this Porsche GT3 has approximately 22,500 original miles and will deliver you to your destination in respected Porsche style.
