Following the success of the Silver Shadow sedan, by 1980 Rolls-Royce decided that it was time for a replacement. Enter the Silver Spirit/Silver Spur models. The Silver Spur was simply a long wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit. The new car shared much of its underpinnings with the Silver Shadow including the robust 6.75-liter V-8 engine. This enduring model continued in production until 2000.

This 1989 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur represents the final year for the Series I model. This enchanting long wheelbase example has luxury appointments in abundance and is finished in black with a black leather interior and a black Everflex roof. The car is equipped with a pop-down Pioneer entertainment system mounted to the headliner, tinted windows aft of the B-pillars, a Nardi steering wheel, picnic tables and the original footrests. Registered with the Rolls-Royce Owners Club, this regal motorcar comes with a large binder of meticulous service records.
