Harley-Davidson began production of the V-Rod in 2001 to compete in the muscle bike category. In 2003 Harley-Davidson produced a V-Rod 100th Anniversary Edition motorcycle. This example is reported to be in stock configuration. It’s powered by a 115-hp, four-stroke, V-twin engine which is paired to a five-speed transmission with a belt final drive. The engine features 11.3:1 compression as well as fuel-injection. The engine is referred to as the Revolution engine. It was a joint development with Porsche that featured the use of overhead cams and liquid cooling. The exhaust is a true focal point featuring a chromed slash-cut design. This motorcycle is brought to a stop by front and rear disc brakes. This motorcycle is loosely based on drag-racing competition motorcycles featuring a very unique looking hydroformed frame and certain elements that some might see on an early 2000s chopper. Vinnie purchased this motorcycle new.
