The Morgan Motor Company, the oldest independent, automobile company on the planet, craft their unique sports cars in a vintage, turn of the century factory in Malvern Link, Worcestershire, England. Morgans, to this day, are still built in the same vintage coach building tradition, in the original facility established in 1912.

The Morgan Plus 4 Drophead Coupe, recognizable from its roadster sibling, by its tall, front opening doors, fixed windshield stanchions and elegant three position folding top was the Morgan sophisticate. It also featured walnut interior appointments, removable sliding side windows and body accent trim.

Only 433 Plus 4 Drophead Coupes were produced between January of 1954 and September of 1969. These models were powered by the 2.0-liter Standard Triumph dual-carbureted engine married to the Moss four-speed gearbox. The Drophead Coupe also utilized the patented Morgan “Sliding Pillar" front suspension system, with its one shot lubricating system, designed in 1912 and still used through the last Morgan.

This particular vehicle has had a recent $10,000 mechanical and cosmetic reconstruction completed by XKS Unlimited. The paint finished in red with a complementary black leather interior and suits this Morgan quite well. Exhibiting vintage style; the Morgan has knock-off wire wheels with a matching rear-mounted spare, black convertible top, distinctive front end design and a wooden dash wth tastefull instrumentation. This beautiful motorcar won Best DHC at Mog West Cambia Show in 2012.
