After 1951, only one Ford station wagon, the Country Squire, bore any wood trim. Its image; however, was undiminished and such was the appeal of the Country Squire that soon other manufacturers, who had once raced to abandon wood, were fielding their own imitations. Until its farewell season in 1991; however, the Country Squire remained the station wagon to own.

The station wagon offered here is presented in red paint with faux wood adorning the sides and rear of the car. The interior has three rows of seating and they are upholstered in red and white two-tone. Powering this car is the larger displacement option ‘D-code’ 312-cid Thunderbird V-8 engine. This beautifully restored Ford features a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and a pushbutton radio.
