Known widely among Porsche circles as the 1973.5 cars, North American 911Ts made after January 1973 used a brand new K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection system from Bosch. This system replaced the mechanical fuel injection system found on the previous 911. Newer and stronger transmissions were added along with the displacement increasing to 2.4-liters in 1971 and new wheels now known as “cookie cutters,” first made their appearance on the 1973 model year.

This 911T being offered is equipped with the desirable sunroof option, headrests, power windows, five-speed transmission, rear window defroster, Nardi steering wheel and its original cookie cutter wheels. The odometer shows less than 92,000 original miles. Included in the sale are the owner’s manual, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, jack, spare tire and service records. The engine has been verified as the original engine that came in this 911T new. Recently, it has just had a service and had the Carrera tensioner kit installed. Still in with its original color combination, the Metallic Gold paint presents exceptionally, and the Black Leatherette interior shows very little wear.

While the 911 has been in production for over 50 years, models produced in 1973 and earlier have become the most desirable in terms of purity of form driving character. This example represents the solid engineering that Porsche had become well-known for. It goes without saying that any serious collection needs an early 911, and this example would be fantastic to drive and enjoy.
