Model year 1967-1968 denotes the third generation of the Chrysler Imperial, and also marks the first time the Imperial is equipped with a unibody construction form. Imperials changed little from 1967 to 1968, but the grille did change to bright chrome with thin horizontal bars, split in the middle by a large Imperial eagle badge. 1968 also marked the last year for the Imperial convertible.
This 1968 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron is finished in dark green with matching dark green leather interior. The 49,120 miles on the odometer are believed to be original. The 440-cid V-8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission moves this large and elegant American luxury sedan down the road with ease. Many options are featured on this Chrysler including power steering, brakes and windows. This LeBaron also sports a padded dark green vinyl roof, air conditioning and a radio. This is a true example of luxury automobiles in the late sixties.
