Cadillac introduced a new DeVille series in 1965 which included a convertible and a pillared sedan. In 1970 not much had changed, however this would be the final year of the always elegant DeVille convertible. This same year a new 500-cid V-8 with 400-hp was introduced as their largest displacement V-8 ever, and was the big news for Cadillac.
This car is equipped with this monstrous V-8 with a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. The car is well-appointed with power brakes, power windows, power convertible top and air conditioning. Finished in brown, the exterior is complemented by a tan convertible top and rear fender skirts. The interior is brown and shows signs of use, but no readily visible tears.
