For 1974, GM re-designed the Corvette with integrated plastic bumpers replacing the small chrome bumpers of the previous model. Additionally, the rear spoiler was removed, giving the car much smoother lines. Minor suspension changes were made to the front and rear springs due to the weight of the new bumpers. This was the last year for the "Big Block" and the last year that catalytic converters were not used. This example is one of just 5,474 made in 1974 and features a 350-cid V8, independent rear suspension, an automatic transmission, and power disk brakes. It runs and drives very well and looks very appealing in its color combination of orange over tan interior.
