Truly a one-of-a-kind car, this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pro Touring was “originally built a few years back for SEMA.” The car is also reported to have been previously owned by respected British actor and car enthusiast Malcolm McDowell, who continues to be most remembered for his role as Alex DeLarge in Stanley Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange.”
Some of the details of this exciting machine’s build include a Chevrolet 468-cid big-block V-8 with AFR aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, March Performance billet pulleys, MSD ignition and Optima batteries. The shifting capabilities are courtesy of a 700R4 with overdrive from Monster Transmission and Performance. Additionally the Camaro is equipped with a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gearing, Heidts tubular upper and lower front control arms, Wilwood aluminum tandem master cylinders, custom rear air shocks, custom fuel cell and Boyds polished wheels. The interior features an “unreal” Rockford Fosgate stereo system with amps, sub-woofers, capacitors, three television screens, custom lighting and Dakota Digital gauges.
