Introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1968, this 411 station wagon was Volkswagens largest passenger vehicle and would be the predecessor to the first generation Passat. Produced with an air-cooled rear engine, this model had plenty of forward storage room for a family vacation. The VW is equipped with a 1,679-cc horizontally-opposed engine with Bosch fuel injection, and the transmission is a three-speed automatic. The 411 wagon is reported to have an original interior and an exterior that has been repainted in blue and accented by chrome moldings, factory hubcaps and bumpers. The black interior appears to have been well-preserved and is equipped with a radio.
