Saloon, tourer and estate car variants were offered by Morris; the latter, a wood-sided car named “Traveler,” becoming perhaps the favorite. The most significant change in specification occurred in 1952, when the Morris merger with Austin made the new “A-series” overhead valve engine of the Austin A-30 available. Here we are offering one of the rarest and most desirable models produced: the Wagon Traveler. Powered by a 948-cc four-cylinder engine, with rack-and-pinion steering and a four-speed transmission; this car is said to be all original, except for the interior. This time capsule is presented in a powder blue exterior complemented nicely with chrome trim and bumpers, a color matching interior and fitted with a radio. Previously owned by Sandra and Martin Button of Pebble Beach, California, this rare Traveler model is ready to go from one great collection to another.
