A joint venture between Porsche and Volkswagen, the 914 was intended to replace the four-cylinder 912, but never quite hit the mark with Porsche enthusiasts. A mid-engine design, it was available with either a VW 1,679-cc four or a Porsche two-liter six.
This four-cylinder 914/4 is painted metallic gray, with black interior. It has a small dent in the rear and the paint and brightwork have dulled somewhat. The radio is missing. However, it has the desirable eight-spoke alloy wheels, and shows a modest 15,325 miles. Although not to everyone’s taste, the 914 has a reputation for fun. This one is no exception.
