The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette offered here is one of the most special Corvettes on the market today. It boasts just two owners from new; both of which have cared for this car meticulously. Their care and ownership was so well performed that this Corvette has never been restored. It has been immaculately preserved; it is a factory original survivor Corvette. Adding to the prestigious pedigree that this Corvette carries, it is a Certified Milestone Car - awarded by the Milestone Car Society “because of Styling, Engineering, Performance, Innovation, and/or Craftsmanship-relative to their contemporaries.”

This completely original 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe was built on February 1st, 1967. The odometer shows a mere 26,129 original miles, which the owner believes to be actual to the car. The corvette is completed with the original window sticker, the Protect-O-Plate, the original sales contract from when the car was purchased new, the original title and the original owner’s manual. It is reported that the two owners have never lowered the gas tank, leaving the tank sticker in its original place since it left the factory.

The original car jack and tire iron are included with the vehicle. The tires on the car are Sears Allstate Radial Ply “Made in France” thin whitewall tires. The spare is a Bias Ply Riverside Air Cushion tire. Also included is historic 1967 Michigan license plates and a Zora Duntov signed Corvette Quarterly Magazine.

The windows, carburetor, alternator, distributor, cylinder heads, engine block and exhaust manifolds are reportedly all correctly date coded.

The Corvette was finished in Marlboro Red with a black stinger hood. Under the stinger hood is a 427 cubic inch, 390 horsepower V-8 engine that is paired to a four-speed manual, close ratio, transmission. Receiving power at the rear of the car is a Positraction differential with a 3.36:1 gear ratio. The well-preserved original interior is completed with black vinyl upholstery and a pushbutton AM/FM radio. Adorning the exterior of the Corvette is excellent brightwork and Ralley wheels.

Rarely is a Corvette offered at auction that is so well preserved in its original state. Furthermore it includes all of the important documentation that is sometimes lost over 50 years of ownership. This is a testament to the Corvette and the two very caring custodians that have owned the car its whole life. This Corvette offers everything that is wanted in a completely original car, with the ability to show it at NCRS events and build its prestigious pedigree even more. A car is only original once, and this original 1967 Corvette quite possibly one of the best examples that we have had the pleasure of offering.
