Buick introduced the Electra in 1959. It was offered in three body styles: sedan, hardtop and convertible, all of which offered passenger seating for six. The Electra was branded as the top-of-the-line offering from Buick. Nineteen sixty marked the final year of first generation Electra production. In 1960, Buick produced 6,746 examples of the Electra convertible.

This 1960 Buick Electra 225 has been restored to its current state and is presented in a beautiful shade of red. During the restoration, the car was taken down to bare metal prior to being repainted. The car rides on thin whitewalls tires mounted on wire wheels. The vehicle is powered by a V-8 engine which is paired to an automatic transmission, both of which were rebuilt during the restoration. Power options on the car include top, windows, steering and brakes. The interior is completed in new leather and features a clock and a radio.
