The third generation El Camino was introduced in 1968. The car was offered with either a six- or an eight-cylinder engine. It offered the utility of a truck with the performance of a musclecar, especially when fitted with the celebrated 396-cid powerplant. The 1970 models featured a restyled front clip which gave the car a more aggressive appearance. Production of the third generation El Camino ran through the 1972 model year.

This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS has been restored to its current state. It’s presented in gray with an optional black vinyl top. The El Camino is powered by a 396-cid, 330-hp V-8 engine which is paired to a three-speed automatic transmission. Power is sent to a 12-bolt rear end with 3.31:1 gears. Exterior features on the car include dual exhaust, over the hood stripes and SS Magnum wheels. Power options on the car include steering and brakes. The interior of the car is completed in black featuring bench seating with seatbelts. Additional interior features include the in-dash factory tach, associated gauges, GM air conditioning and aftermarket radio with cassette.
