Nineteen sixty-seven marked the first year of production of the second generation C/K trucks. Nicknamed the “Action Line,” the new trucks featured additional comfort and convenience features, with the goal being to prove a truck could be more than just a work vehicle. Second generation C/K truck production ran through 1972.
This 1967 Chevrolet Pickup Custom has had a professional body-off restoration and is presented in a brilliant shade of red. The vehicle is powered by a rebuilt 283-cid V-8 engine with a Holley aluminum intake and four-barrel carburetor; an aluminum radiator cools the system. The engine is paired to a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 three-speed automatic transmission. The truck rides on new radial tires mounted on chrome-plated aluminum wheels. The truck’s bed features a new oak floor with an epoxy finish. Interior options include factory air conditioning, bucket seats and a console. The truck has all new suspension components, new brakes and a new exhaust system. The owner states since the restoration the truck has only been driven 500 miles.
