In 1960 Chevrolet introduced their C/K truck line. The C stood for Conventional, meaning two-wheel drive while the K stood for four-wheel drive. Falling under the C/K line were Chevrolet’s series 10, 15, 20 and 30 trucks. The 1962 model year was highlighted by a newly designed hood, which featured a lower and flatter design than previous years. The first generation C/K trucks were produced through 1966.

This 1962 Chevrolet K10 1/2-Ton Fleetside Pickup has benefitted from a frame-off restoration, and is presented in Cardinal Red. The truck is powered by a 283-cid 160-hp V-8 engine paired to a four-speed manual transmission. The truck also features factory optioned four-wheel-drive. The interior is done in gold, and features a heater and AM radio. Exterior features include a driver sideview mirror and a milled southern yellow pine bed which has been treated with linseed and lampblack pigmentation. The two year restoration was documented and the owner states the truck has only been driven 50 miles since its completion.
