In 1961 the Chevrolet Corvette received a restyling. The rear end now featured four circular taillights. This new rear end design would remain a staple on the Corvette until the 2014 model year when Chevrolet transitioned away from the circular taillight design.

This 1961 Corvette convertible is presented in a two-tone turquoise and white. The car is powered by a 283-cid V-8 engine with dual four-barrel carburetors. The engine is paired to a Powerglide automatic transmission connected to a Posi-traction rear end. The car rides on Power Streak II tires mounted on Weld Racing wheels. The interior features white bucket seats. Additional interior features include power windows, Wonder Bar radio and clock.

The car was purchased by the current owner in 1961. It received a frame-off restoration around 1989 and driven to car shows and club events. The owner states the car has hardly been driven since 1997 and was last driven on the road in 2011. The car received was repainted in August of 2015.
