In 1957 the Ford Thunderbird received its first restyling since its introduction in 1955. The rear of the car was made longer and featured larger fins and taillights. The trunk was redesigned to accommodate a vertical stored spare tire, this change, some claimed, aided in ride and handling. The interior now featured an engine-turned dash and the instrument panel from full-size Fords of the time. The 1957 Thunderbird marked the final year of the first-generation Thunderbirds.
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is presented in Inca Gold, with a white convertible top. The car is powered by the Thunderbird Special V-8 and paired with an automatic transmission. The engine bay is reported as original and has never been restored. The car sits on whitewall tires mounted on yellow wheels with turbine wheel covers. The rear wheels are partially hidden by body matched rear fender shields. The interior is two-tone black and white and features amenities including a clock and the Volumatic Town and Country radio. The grille of the car is adorned with a Classic Thunderbird Club International badge and has a great older restoration that has held up very well.
