The Kaiser line was completely redesigned for 1951, a design which would remain until the company’s demise in 1955. Howard “Dutch” Darrin was once again called upon to design the new models. Darrin incorporated a unique widow’s peak to the top of the windshield as well as what was commonly referred to as a “Darrin Dip” in the rear quarter panel. The Darrin designed 1951 Kaisers are considered one of the more memorable designs of the 1950s.
This 1951 Kaiser Deluxe Two-Door Sedan is presented in aqua green with a green cloth interior. The exterior of the car has benefitted from a professional repaint, which is nicely accented with stainless and chrome trim. The car rides on Firestone 404 wide whitewall tires. The car is powered by a six-cylinder Supersonic engine paired to an automatic transmission. Unique features on the car include a Kaiser hood ornament and an exterior sunvisor. Interior options include AM radio, clock, seatbelts and a padded dash. In the trunk is the original trunk material, spare tire and jack.
