One of the most admired, and desired, boat designs over the years remains the stunningly beautiful Chris-Craft 23-foot Custom Runabout; perhaps better known as a Triple-Cockpit Barrelback. The 23-foot triple-cockpit barrelback was produced for three years. The 1940 boats had the antique looking Bugatti windshield, while the 1941 - 1942 models had the more modern folding "v" windshield. The 1940 boats are scare, valuable and wanted by just about anyone with an eye for vintage style and has ever captained a boat on their favorite lake or waterway.
This gorgeous triple-cockpit wooden boat is a near-perfect replica of the Chris-Craft 1940 Triple-Cockpit Barrelback 23-Foot Custom Runabout and is powered by a modern 350-cid MerCruiser engine. Among the many beautiful appointments are leather upholstery, real “banjo” steering wheel, Bugatti-style windshields on the front and rear cockpits, real Chris-Craft horns, towel racks, plus a custom Sierra trailer.
