The fourth generation 1993 Firebird was very close to being, but not quite, all-new from its immediate predecessor. The body design was boldly aerodynamic and incorporated plastic front fenders, but much of the floorpan and rear suspension carried over. Realizing it had a good thing going with strong sales; Pontiac didn't change much on the 1994 Firebird. For Pontiac in 1994; we saw the reintroduction of the convertible and a special Bright White with blue trim 25th Anniversary Firebird Trans Am. Also new to the manufacturer was a GT version of the Trans Am which added additional luxury features such as leather seats.

A total of 2,000 25th Anniversary Trans Am’s were built in three different body types. There were 338 Hardtops, 250 Convertibles and 1,412 T-top coupes like the car being offered. It is reported that this car is one of 600 examples that was equipped with the options and features seen on this car. It is further reported as being nearly new in condition and rarely driven over the past 21 years.

This edition of Trans Am is finished in Bright White; all of these rare Firebirds wore a Tyrol Blue center stripe running from front-to-rear, with only T-tops or a convertible top interrupting the stripes path. The color scheme carried over into the well-appointed cockpit with the usual Pontiac flair for the completely “cool.” The Pontiac is powered by a 5.7-liter, 275-hp fuel-injected V-8 engine that is paired to an automatic transmission. It is further equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM radio with cassette player; power windows, door locks, steering and brakes. Completing the appearance package were special “25th” decals and badges, embroidered headrests and door panels, and distinctively styled 16- x 8-inch, aluminum, five-spoke wheels wearing the same white hue as the body and adorned with unique center caps.
