In an era of languishing sales for most American auto manufacturers, Chrysler struck gold with the Cordoba in 1975. 150,105 buyers took home the sporty luxurious Cordoba, compared to 107,059 total Chrysler sales the prior year. The new car immediately outsold such established models as the Grand Prix, Cougar, Thunderbird, Toronado and Riviera. The 318-cid V-8 was rated at 150 horsepower and the opulent interior was standard with soft brocade trim. Although many were produced, it is very unusual to find a Cordoba today, especially in the remarkable condition of this offering. As Chrysler’s flagship, it is fully optioned with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, landau roof and AM/FM/cassette sound system. The rich maroon interior shows virtually no wear and appears showroom new. Under the hood, each component is also fully detailed as when leaving the factory. Only 40,601 miles are logged onto the odometer. This may very well be the best Chrysler Cordoba to be found on the market today.
