Oldsmobiles were newly styled for 1965 including the top-series 98 models. The big Olds included fender skirts on the rear wheels nicely complementing the new styling. Engines were new, too, as a 425-cid Super Rocket V-8 became standard along with the new Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. Rarest of all the 1965 Olds was the 98 Convertible with only 4,903 sold; also the most expensive model in the marque’s lineup.
Painted Provincial White with a matching white convertible top and contrasting black vinyl bench seat interior, this 98 includes power steering and brakes, power top, power windows, power antenna, AM radio, whitewall tires and dual combination mirror/spotlights.
