The king of full-size Buicks in the middle to late 1960s was the Electra 225. At over 17-feet long, the Electra four-door was Buick’s largest vehicle. For 1969, the Buick Electra 225 series received a major restyle to keep pace with GMs latest full-size designs. The car became a little less “blocky” and more graceful, greatly resembling Cadillacs of the same year. The 430 V-8 at 360 horsepower provided ample power for the two-ton luxury liner. One of the most pristine examples known to exist is now available here as this 9,600 mile original is offered for sale. As with most Electra 225s, it is fully equipped with such amenities as AM/FM radio, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, six-way power seat and power locks. The deluxe cloth upholstery is covered in what is believed to be dealer-installed clear plastic protective covers and each component within the interior displays an untouched appearance. It is also believed that the paint is 100-percent original and other than detailing; this Buick is as new in every way.
