This stylish Chrysler is powered by a 323.5-cid, 135-hp L-head eight-cylinder engine that is mated to a Fluid-Drive automatic transmission. This was the last year for this inline eight-cylinder and 1950 also represents the last year for Chryler's wood-trimmed bodies. The Newport shared the body shell of the convertible and the handsome lines are unmistakable. The Newport is reported to have been restored in the last two years and has received components that are either new or reconditioned that includes water pump, brakes, brake lines, battery and radiator. All of the electrical is reported to work and a manual choke has been installed. The Newport also had one repaint in its original colors of Juniper Green and Tampa Beige and the owner states the car is a "solid number two" condition..
