Restored to high level quality in 2006, this Model U Plymouth has captured many AACA awards and has been frequently shown and recognized for its presentation. Finished in French Vanilla with black fenders and belt-molding and tasteful red pinstripes and red wire wheels, the roadster also displays a tan canvas top, as well as the boot and spare tire cover, tan leather seat with matching vinyl on the door and kick panels, along with the rumbleseat. The Plymouth is powered by a 175.4-cid, 45-hp inline four-cylinder engine that is paired to a three-speed floor-shift manual transmission. Among the other features on the roadster are front and rear bumpers that were optional in period, running board step plates, windshield windwings and rear-mounted matching spare.

To illustrate the accomplishments of this fine car; within the AACA it has a First Junior Award at the 2001 National Spring Meet in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Senior Award at 2001 National Fall Meet in Bardstown, Kentucky, First Preservation Award at the 2001 Fall National Meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania, First Place at the Annual Grand National Meet in 2006 at Dover, Delaware, Senior Award at the Annual Grand National Meet in 2008 at Melbourne, Florida, nominated for a 2008 National Award and it also appeared in AACA Antique Automobile magazine in July/August 2008 Volume 72 #4, plus it was in the AACA appointment calendar for July 2007. The Plymouth also has appeared in Hemmings Classic Car in September 2007 (page 48), Antique Cars calendar in both 2007 and 2008, Award(s) of Distinction at the 2007 and 2008 Anniversary Ault Park Concours d’Elegance in Cincinnati, Ohio and it has also been shown at the Louisville Concours d’Elegance at Churchill Downs and the Carmel Concours d’Elegance in Carmel, Indiana, both in 2008.
