Nineteen seventy-seven marked 25 years under Queen Elizabeth II’s reign over England. To honor the Queen, Triumph released a limited production run of 1000 special edition T140V called the Silver Jubilee. These Silver Jubilee motorcycles were produced solely for the home market. The first 1000 units sold quickly and Triumph decided to produce another 1000 for the American market, and another 400 for general export. These Silver Jubilees featured a silver tank and side covers, blue upholstered seat with red piping, chrome plated engine covers, chrome and painted wheels, topped off by special badging on the side covers. These are not only unique and beautiful, but also very collectible and one of the most refined versions of the Triumph T140.

The Silver Jubilee offered here is a frame and engine numbers matching example with the odometer displaying 7,526 miles. The paint and chrome show very well and overall the bike appears to be in sound original condition including the original mufflers. After some basic recommissioning this Silver Jubilee would be suitable for rides through the English countryside.
