Nineteen fifty-nine was the first production year for the Triumph T120, a 649-cc street dominator in its day. It was primarily conceived and produced for the U.S. market and the increasing demand for more performance. Nineteen seventy-two marked the first production year to receive the five-speed gearbox and really unleash the potential of the T120 engine.
